Our work spans a wide range of industries and sectors and is fun, challenging and highly creative. We are a small but fast-growing agency (< 10 employees) located in mid-town Toronto.

Prior Experience:

  • Undergraduate 3 or 4-year university degree

  • Experience working in a client or customer-facing service role

  • Ideally, 1-2 years’ experience in a full-time client or agency-side position in one of the following capacities:

    o   Project Management

    o   Marketing or Innovation

    o   Account Management

    o   Event Management

  • A valid G class driver’s license would be considered an asset, but is not essential

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Key Responsibilities:

Your primary responsibility will be to support and take ownership of innovation and research projects, supporting the Innovation Directors and Presidents managing the project in every capacity required. Your responsibilities will include everything from:

  • Project management & logistics

  • Calendar management, organization of team meetings

  • Ensuring that action items are captured and assigned to various team members

  • Administration and organization of projects – ensuring that all of the little details are considered and delivered

  • Client contact, invitations, client service and care

  • Managing consumer and expert recruiting, including liaising with recruiters, writing specs, and screeners, handling incentives, etc.

  • Researching and collecting inspiring stimulus through online and in-market collection; creating stimulus decks

  • Preparing client documents and videos

  • Doing research for proposals

  • Travel booking and management – you will book travel for team members, including liaising with our travel agent as necessary, and ensuring flights, hotels, cars are booked

  • Workshop management – you will own all logistics for client (and internal) meetings including venue searching and booking, catering, printing materials, preparing templates as required, packing of the supplies, ensuring necessary AV solutions are in place, etc. You will frequently attend workshops with duties including setting up AV, hanging materials on the walls, unpacking and packing kit, managing meals and snacks, dealing with ad-hoc client requests, etc.

  • Doing whatever is required to get the project delivered, from the small details of organizing catering and notebooks all the way to working with clients in workshops

Additional responsibilities will include:

  • Relationship building – you will build and maintain great working relationships with suppliers, clients and colleagues

  • Research / online searching – this could include everything from researching/sourcing sample products for team workshops, to finding inspiring articles and stories for the team’s development or to post externally, etc.

  • Small project management - You will lead ad-hoc projects as they arise

  • Building the company’s brand through marketing and social media activities

  • As part of a small start-up team, pitching in wherever the need arises

PLEASE NOTE: This is a 40 hour/week contract position with a flexible length of 3-12 months (to be agreed), with the strong possibility to extend to a longer contract or full-time position.

Compensation will reflect the experience of the candidate.
